Services Provided

We are able to address every aspect of your child's health.  This includes well check-ups and sports physicals, same day sick visits, in office throat cultures and flu tests and suture removal.

Appointments
To be able to provide the most timely service we request that you make an appointment.  If you are late for your appointment we will try to fit you into the schedule, or offer an appointment with a different provider.  You may have to wait until we see our scheduled, on-time patients.

Emergencies
If the case of an emergency please call 911.  A true emergency are those conditions that are life-threatening including loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains), please call our office first for instructions.

After Hours
There is always a provider available to answer calls after hours.  Our answering service will page the doctor on call at that time. Whenever possible save routine questions, mild illness, appointments, prescription refills, etc., for the morning. We encourage you to refer to our website first, when practical, before calling the office. 

Sick Visits
We will make every effort to schedule appointments for sick children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting. If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.

Well Visits
Regular checkups are very important to ensure that your child is healthy.   We recommend that you call our office in advance or preferably make the next appointment before you leave your current appointment,  so you may choose the date that best fits your needs.

The list below is our recommended schedule for Well Child Visits:
  • 2 weeks
  • 2 months
  • 4 months
  • 6 months
  • 8-9 months
  • 12 months
  • 15 months
  • 18 months
  • 2 years
  • 2 1/2 years
  • 3 years
  • 4 years then yearly through age  18
At age 19 we encourage patients to see an adult provider.
