Dr. Ira Haimowitz, D.O., is a dedicated pediatrician with more than 35 years of experience caring for children and families. He earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Brookdale Hospital. Dr. Haimowitz is passionate about supporting children’s medical, developmental, and behavioral health needs. He enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Ira Haimowitz, D.O., is a dedicated pediatrician with over 35 years of experience providing comprehensive care to children and families. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brooklyn College in 1980 and his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985. He completed his internship at Interfaith Medical Center from 1985 to 1986 and his pediatric residency at Brookdale Hospital from 1986 to 1988.
Dr. Haimowitz specializes in general pediatrics, as well as developmental and behavioral health and allergy care. He is committed to treating not only the medical needs of his patients, but also supporting the well-being of the entire family. As a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he values delivering accessible, high-quality care.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Haimowitz lives with his wife, Marci, and enjoys time with their five children and three grandchildren. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling and is a passionate sports enthusiast. He finds great fulfillment in caring for generations of families and considers pediatrics his lifelong calling.
